    Very nice indeed!!!

I see some weird spots or are they just reflections?

Thank you... This cheap 3n still impresses me as amateur.

If it's the spot in upper left corner area, I think it's reflections, as they aren't present on other pics from today

Comparing the SELP1650 to the SEL1855...how much better IQ is it?
Is there a great improvement or just slightly?

    By the way....excellent shot! :)

I haven't used the sel1855 enough yet, to comment that. Also I don't have the selp1650 anymore, as I traded it for Sigma 19 and 30mm. Sadly I discovered, that I'm not enthusiastic enough for prime lenses, so I bought this sel1855 second hand.

But so far I'm happy about my decision, and I think it suits the little 3n good. The manual zoom and build quality feels good.

The only downside is the bigger size, but actually it isn't a problem for me.

    Thanks plex.

Practice taking shots with just the prime lenses and you will get the hang of it.
    You will be surprised!

I was about to sell my SELP1650, but at the last minute I decided to keep it...had a buyer willing to buy it for $250.

    I have both lenses.

Slight. The SEL1855 has slightly better IQ, has less distortion, and feels more comfortable to hold while shooting. But the SELP1650 is smaller, slightly wider FOV, balances better on the front of the camera, and it doesn't suck up dust like a hoover.
The IQ difference is barely noticeable, if at all.
Six of one. Half dozen of the other.

I live in the dusty desert, so I carry the 1650 just to avoid having to remove dust spots in the skies during PP. Taking the SEL1855 apart and cleaning it is a PITA.
