    Hi All,

I'm pretty new on here, but had my Nex 5 a couple of years.

Just got a pair of 10mm and 16mm extension tubes and had a first play with them today shooting a bunch of flowers my g/f had.

Here are the results - nothing spectacular, appreciate any constructive criticism!

All were taken with 18-55 with 26mm extension on tripod with remote shoot and an 'LED Bar Torch' hand held to light (I need an off board flash!). None are cropped, some had some gentle levels adjusted in post but thats it.

    55mm f-5.6 1/20

    40mm f-16 1sec

    40mm f-4.5 1/15

40mm f-4.5 1/5 Backlit - I like this one! Had some crap on the lens though :(

55mm f-32 5sec (even more crap on lens! Not sure where from as I didn't change it)

Some nice shots here. Given that the last shot is at f/32 I strongly suspect those are dust spots on your sensor, not the lens.

Can't give any constructive criticism but what I know is that I really like #4 !!!

...and holy crap, that's some serious sensor dust on #5 if that's what it is!!!

Yea, just cleaned the lenses and come to the same conclusion RE sensor dust... Any recommendations on how to clean it!?
Bit embarrassed to say I have never cleaned it since I have had the camera. Guess as I haven't done many shots with big f numbers I've not noticed before...
