Hello all!

These were all shot on a 5N with an SMC Takumar 55 1.8. Hope you enjoy!

I know this one is not focused in the correct area but I still loved the shot.

Aah, the one you say is misfocuseD is my fave, but I'm a fan of close up portrait. Gorgeous.

Thanks for the kind words! It felt great to have a capable camera in my hands again! Almost all of these shots were taken using the cardboard/tinfoil flash bounce technique, I'm going to be exploring something a little softer soon.

I was just using the included kit flash with a homemade bounce rubber banded under the flash.

Thanks everyone! The weather has been downright poor lately so I haven't had much of a chance to get outdoors with it. I've been restricted to low-light indoor shots haha

Thanks for the edit SRHEdD. I love that it creates a much more focused area of the content than the original. I think my only issue is that it's square, and i'm not sure why I have an issue with that because to me it's a much more pleasing crop than the original image.

I really just wanted to blur the third person out in the background, but then tapped the eyes a bit brighter, and the wedding ring. All about the message...
It is a bit over sharp now, but you get the idea. Only my quick thoughts, there are a hundred possibilities here, it is a great image to start with.

What was your process/tools to brighten up the eyes and wedding ring? Are you using lightroom?

First few shots, these are very very nice! Don't you like that SMC Tak? I need to get mine out and use it more often.
