    Hi guys,

Yesterday I noticed tinies mushrooms in the grass. They're only a few milimeters high.
I should get my first prime lens at the end of the month, the Sigma 60mm f/2.8 ART series. That should be a big change from my 16-50mm kit lens! HA HA

So as you can see these pictures are taken with my kit lens and a 16mm extension tube. I used a flashlight LED for some of them.
    Cute tiny world! :p

    Excellent shots!
I really need to work on my Macro. I have a dedicated OM macro lens with 1:1 and a flash but I am not good at it lol

I've just picked some macro tubes, and so am following your experiments with some interest, Christian. Keep 'em coming!

These are great shots. It's like a Smurfs view of the world.

Your shots made me get some extension tubes to try out some of my lens.

Great shots all! They even made me think again about macro and look up extension tubes on Amazon. Then I took a deep breath, "Work more with what you have Steve, work with what you have."

Well go ahead! There are Viltrox tubes with electronic contacts for $40 or $50. You don't necessarily need to get the Kenko ones which are expensive. It's not like you're going to buy a $400 lens, it's one of the cheapest accessory that exist for lenses and enables you to have a totally new perspective.

I'm actually thinking seriously about something like the Vivitar Macro Focusing 2X Teleconverter for MD Mount. Sort of kills two birds with one stone... I hope.

Nice...too bad it wasn't a dedicated macro lens!
I would be all over one myself.

Someone...either Sony or Sigma needs to make a macro lens in the 60mm -105mm range.

I've pretty much sold my Nikon gear, but kept my Sigma 90mm macro to use with the Fotodiox Pro adapter.
