 WOW!!! Simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G detail & composition in this macro shot Colin. Of your more artistic shots I've ever seen from you I think
Totally feel the B&W process ;)

Very well done. I like how the water magnified the finger prints.

Thanks Nick, I didn't really do anything with composition. I just had the camera sitting on the counter top pointing at the water stream, then dribbled the water through my fingers.

I was reading Erick's great post 'My off camera flash setup' where he showed how he took some cool shots of smoke and I wanted to try something similar. It was about 12:30 am here and I should have been preparing my courses (or sleeping) but this was far more important. :)

I have a wireless trigger and even the exact same flash unit.

I stuck a blue folder (the work I should have been doing) behind as a backdrop.

I was surprised I got anything decent.

    Here's a colour one.

Cool stuff - would be great to have maybe an LED light source pointing through the water too !

Yeah, if that's what you get when you're just fooling around, your serious stuff will knock my socks off!

Actually, it already has, several times. :D

Yeah. I saw Jim's photos with different coloured laser pointers and I am wondering about that.

Hey excellent shots mate !! Beautiful stopped action going and I tend to miss what is not in the nature forum, sorry (gulp !!). Fine shots but also darn fine work behind it all. Impressive.

    All the best you way.

    Danny.
