It's hard not to feel blessed, living in Oregon:

Oregon does look amazing. I am travelling from Vancouver to San Francisco later this year, where should I not miss?

Also, just looking at those images it seems really hard to pick which is A6000 and which is A7. Why do you have both?

What time of year are you going to be rolling through?

As for having both the A7 and A6000, I like having two bodies, especially in situations where I don't want to switch out lenses due to environmental conditions (e.g. ocean spray). Furthermore, they both have advantages over one another -- for instance, the A7 has better low-light performance and dynamic range, and the A6000 has faster AF and is more compact. Oh yeah, and probably the most important reason, I'm a gearhead and couldn't pass up the A6000 for $550, as a backup!

Fair enough! You seem to be able to create stunning images with either.

I will be travelling just after Christmas.

I assume it will be a lot colder than I am used to (I am from Australia).

Woof! That shot is unreal, Nate.

And you're right, there certainly are worse places to shoot.

If I had to give you a go-to list, which doesn't include hard to get to places, I would suggest:

    Crater Lake National Park
    Silver Falls State Park
    The Historic Columbia River Highway

Also, in Northern Cali, weather permitting, hit up Castle Crags State Park.

    Hope this helps.

Wow...those are just great!!! All of them. Really like the last two with the three leaves, but just curious....were they naturally arranged that way or did you position them?

I agree! Although I'm curious if you've processed this shot in B&W as well. If so I'd love to see it.
