Thanks all :) .. Some are from Australia and some are from my home place in Norway :) .. This is the last week we have with the midnight sun, so I will try to get some decent shots over the weekend and post some more images.

You're too modest! That's a great collection of photos you've crafted. One of the best I've seen.

Looking again at these stunning images and wondering, from a photographers perspective, what it's like shooting at the higher latitudes. I could imagine that the lower angle of the sun might be a real advantage and that sunrises and sunsets would last much, much longer, but then there may be other factors that would not be so favorable. I've always wanted to visit Norway for the x-c skiing, but now have to consider photography as well.

From 4. june - 8. july ( where I live Bodø ) the sun sets just above the horizon and it sits there for 4-5 hours before going up again, so we have no dark night at that time. Where are you planning to go skiing ? Tromsø, Lofoten ?

Thanks! If your thinking about the milkyway image, you most have a new moon or third quater moon if I remember correctly ( you can google and see what time at night the moon is not visible ), then go far away from any light polution. That image was taken in Australia and the milkyway is very easy to spot there, here in Norway you almost can´t see it.
