Some of you may recall my Falls in Fall 2016 rump.

Well I had a blast, but if I had one regret it was not making it to Watkins Glen State Park. In my opinion, it’s home to the most beautiful gorge and waterfall in the Northeast US. So for autumn 2017, I made sure it was my first stop. And boy was it worth the trip!

    Beautiful set Gary!
I like #2 and #4 the best - I love how you placed a foreground element/anchor. Excellent composition

    Thanks @addieleman@addieleman , @NickCyprus@NickCyprus , @davect01@davect01

Like I said, I've been wanting to hit this spot for awhile now. It's a 4 hour drive each way, but it was well worth it as it is also I nice 2 mile hike once you get there.

    Thanks @AlwaysOnAuto@AlwaysOnAuto.

As for the people. Don't let these images fool you.

There are tons of people buzzing around; this is NY state. You have no idea how many people said, "oh you must be professional, do you mind taking my/our picture with our phone" , "can you take a couple more" :roflmao:

There are several factors at play as to why these shots are void of people. Midweek, first one there(left my house 3:30am), long exposures (averages out moving people), patience, stacking multiple shots, and editing.

You've done a masterful job of taking the human element out of the pictures, Gary. Great work.

Great scenery, and great photo's. I don't want to nominate any favorites, as I feel that would downplay the remaining photo's. Excellent work

I thought: 16-35 for sure! But no, 24-70?! Amazing! In any case, I think that's masterful.
