    Nice. I took one very much like it last night with my 5N/55-210 combo. :) 

    I sorta jazzed it up a bit though. See it here.

    Pretty good - I would say a tiny bit over exposed and ( for me ) black and white suits the moon best. Here's mine to compare :-

    Hand held with NEX-C3 and Canon FD 70-210 F/4.0, crop from original in Photoshop CS5. Slight levels adjustment.

    Tell you what though, after many-a-night in the Middle East, I've seen quite a few moons that were not black and white ;)

    Indeed, I've seen quite a few here in the UK that have the lovely orange / brown colour to them. I do find that shooting in black and white helps to get rid of chroma noise though, as there is no colour information in the shot except on the moon itself. Cheers :)
