EOS lenses adapted to NEX-6 with Commlite adapter - AF speed

I purchased a Commlite adapter to try adapting my EOS lenses to the NEX6. I have an EOS-M, and AF of the EOS lenses to the M is quite acceptable. I do not like the AF speed however to the NEX, so the adapter is going back. It does carry over aperture and focal length to the EXIF, but of course not the lens type (it reports as a SAM lens).

All tests were done with the EF 85mm 1.8, a pretty fast focusing lens. Other tests (50/1.4, Tamron 28-75/2.8) were similar.

Here is a video in case anyone is interested.
