Pre-dawn a short distance from my house this morning, on a rural hilltop. You can still see a bit of the lights from a nearby small city reflecting in the clouds, which are not completely sharp due to the long exposure times, but these are all keepers for me. Promaster Spectrum 7 set at 19mm.

Orion and Sirius perfectly framed by the clouds. By late December this scene will be visible in the evening sky.

Jupiter just above the moon, with Castor and Pollux left of Jupiter, Procyon lower middle, and Betelgeuse upper right.

Aldebaran and the Pleaides. I was trying to get Andromeda (M31) in this one, but the clouds got in the way.

Thanks Claude. The winter time celestial objects are my favorites, so I'm more familiar with them than some of the summer ones. I'm far from an expert.
