We stopped off at Dunbar on a recent Motorhome trip.
Dunbar is a wee Scottish town on the North Sea coast of East Lothian, about 30 miles east of Edinburgh. The town is renowned for its high sunshine record, rugged coastline and attractive countryside.

All make me linger, Mike. And I never would have thought a shot of three guys playing golf would catch my eyes. But there it is.

Plus, the pictures make a great argument for your camera/lens combo as the ideal lightweight, compact travel kit.

When I go away in the camper, the only kit I take is the a6300, 16-70 and 70-200.
I find this covers most if not all situations.
If I need to go wider then I just stitch 2 or more shots together.
If I take my bike with me then the Sony rx100iii slips into my biking jacket perfectly.
The a7rii kit is for days out shooting so i have the best of all worlds covered.

    Great reply :D
The day started out lovely but in true Scottish style, the clouds started to roll in and the wind got up to almost gale force!!

TBH, I prefer shooting in these conditions rather than brilliant blue skies.
Less contrasty, postcardy (if there is such a word ;) ) and I feel the clouds give the shots more life

I know what you mean, just as well you prefer it that way as that's how Scotland usually is :)

Wouldn't want it any other way, Paul
Apart from the wind .... rain .... etc :biggrin:

Its what makes our country the beautiful country it is - and the rain contributes to the making of some beautiful whisky :2thumbs:

That dismal British weather, cloudy and drizzly - I've always loved for the barbel and salmon fishing :2thumbs: which I did for so many years when I was living there.

    Seriously, I love our climate.
Wouldn't wish for anything more than we already have.
Being a pure Scot, I'm not made for the searing heat and sun of foreign climes.
I've got the Scottish pale blue skin - it takes me a week to turn white!! :D :D :D
