Just bought a Minolta MC Rokkor-PF F2.8 135mm from a small camera shop for $16.00. Looks almost new. Here is 2 pics from it. First is wide open and second is @ f4.

They are called Muscovy ducks. Kinda of ugly in a handsome way. Quite happy with the IQ. @f2.8 it sometimes has some CA but easy to clean up in LR4.

    Thanks for looking

Nice pictures, excellent IQ. You should add these to the sample archive.

Would I have to repost from Flickr or can that be done within this site.
To Nick and Mike, I feel a little guilty that the camera shop man didn't know what he had.

    :D

I recently bought an MD 135 f/3.5 for $14 (originally it was $30 but the seller agreed to a partial refund when I complained about some internal dust - his description specified that it was flawless so...)

If there's no existing thread, create one, with title as "Minolta 135mm f/2.8 MC Rokkor-PF". Then copy your post #1 (you can edit post#1, copy what you have in post #1, then cancel) and paste in the new thread.

Amazing shots. Looking at photos like this make me really think about what a terrible photographer I am cause in all the years I've been shooting, I cannot for the life of me get shots with that kinda detail. I can't ever figure out what I do wrong. Gets to the point of frustration, I just put everything away and don't shoot for months. I pick it back up and same ol'crap. Some days I seriously consider selling it all and finding a new hobby.

Brian, it's done. You're a computer genius. Thanks

Nick, I read that is a great lens also and much lighter. That is what I was looking for but couldn't pass up f/2.8.

Great shots, I love that lens! At f/2.8, it's a background annihilator.
Here are a couple of shots I snapped of my wife after a day mountain biking. Since she gets really annoyed at my constant photo snapping, I didn't get to do much of a setup... =)
