Let's have a sharing thread for puppies and puppers and fluffers of all shapes and sizes. Please do not judge a dog that you may not like just because it's not your kind of dog.

Here's our Spud (mix Yorkshire Terrier with a Jack Russel, 6 year old girl), named that way because she lives eating raw potato skin. Pictures made today on a walk around the fields:

ILCE-7C    Yashica Yashidon-DX 50mm f 1.4    50mm    f/1.4    1/2000s    ISO 100

It was a nightmare of trial and error to chance that she will be in focus at f 1.4, pre-focused between 1 and 3 meters.

ILCE-7C    Yashica Yashidon-DX 50mm f 1.4    50mm    f/1.4    1/2000s    ISO 100

Had 500 images at the end of the day and even at High+ burst rate I still got only one in focus if I was lucky and rarely perfectly sharp on the eyes.

WOF01237-Edit.JPG
ILCE-7C    Helios-44M 58mm f 2 (M42)    58mm    f/2.0    1/500s    ISO 1600

I love the swirly effect of the Helios-44M, woods in the perfect place to get the effect.

ILCE-7C    Helios-44M 58mm f 2 (M42)    58mm    f/2.0    1/500s    ISO 320

At f 2 the DoF is so small and she won't sit still for a picosecond, it makes it easy to get her to run towards me (just wistle or call for her) but I can never get her to pose. She gets anxious and tries to climb to the top of my head like she would be a parrot if I sit more then 2 seconds in one place.

ILCE-7C    Yashica Yashidon-DX 50mm f 1.4 (M42)    50mm    f/1.4    1/1000s    ISO 100

Had to turn this one to B&W because the backlight was to strong and because I underexposed the image to much the color cast of the shadows was to strong to be useful in colour ... And I kind of love how it looks now.

ILCE-7C    Helios-44M 58mm f 2 (M42)    58mm    f/2.0    1/500s    ISO 1250

Well the nice thing about it is at least it's easy to get her to expel all her energy and she loves it to bits.

ILCE-7C    E 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 A071    65mm    f/4.0    1/500s    ISO 6400

And when I do get "The Big Gun" Sony's AF-C, Real Time Tracking, Eye Tracking and Pet Detection never fails to blow my socks off.
