Does Minolta Maxxum 2800 AF safe on Nex-6?

    I just got this today but too hesitate to mount it on my camera. I heard that if flash's voltage is too high it will fry your camera, after searching for awhile, I founded that this Flash is about 2V. I posteed it to make sure this is safe on my Nex 6. Thank you.

    I don't know about the voltage but unless it's a (D) lens it will not adjust the flash output per metered distance, i.e. It will always fire at full power.

    What you want is 2800(D) or 3600HS(D) or 5600HS(D), the last two are also high speed sync flashes. I have 3600HS(D) and it works great with my Nex 6 and adapter.
