Deer love mushrooms...Whitetail Doe helping herself to the bounty from a lot of rain

    Can't get over what a difference it's made switching from that awful AWB setting in my NEX-7 and using 'Daylight' instead.

    Makes you wonder how she knows poison from hallucinogen from safe. Or can their system tolerate what we can't ?

    I've wondered that myself. I've also come across several turtles munching on fungi that I was certain was quite poisonous to humans. Different body chemistries, I suppose.

    I guess they're immune to that sort of thing...to be sure I just Googled it up and found that mushrooms which are poisonous to humans don't affect deer
