    I got one of the open box 5N kits from Amazon Wed. afternoon and unfortunately, I think the lens with it is decentered. Bummer to have to send it back as I like the lens otherwise and I love the 5N!

    I can see it in most of the test 'scapes I shot. Waaah!

    Yeah, this lens pretty much makes the left corner into oatmeal mush! I did find a reasonable deal on a used 5N, so I have one coming to replace the kit I have to send back... :)

    Most of my lenses for various systems are decentered to one extent or another, so I don't bother to exchange for dust, minor decentering, etc. Yours looks worse than usual, and I would have sent it back too.

    Thanks Amin. Good thing is I found a used 5N and a set of lenses, so I'll be all set when they arrive. :)  I wonder how the old MF lenses hold up so well for decades...
