I've heard about these "super bloom" events in Death Valley for a long time and finally got visit during the spring after a nice, rainy winter.
If I'm being honest, the locations and the blustery weather yielded more photo opportunities than the wildflowers. But now I can say I've done it!
I'm eager to do more spring trips to Death Valley, even during the more typical drought pattern.

All excellent shots, with 2, 7, and 8 having the highest 'wow factor' for me

The desert in bloom can be quite special. Nice results

Lenses used were: FE35/2.8, FE55 and Minolta MD 85/2 (55mm for that last shot of Mobius Arch). I also had my Canon EOS M with the 11-22 zoom (16-35 equivalent) for the extra wide stuff (can read about that & see those photos in my other thread here).
