Took these last night. Clover Island again, this time from the Pasco side of the river (NW looking SE) as opposed to the shots last time from on the island. Used the 55-210 for these. According to Google Earth it's 2600 feet from Tripod to lighthouse. The portrait shot is a crop obviously. More on my blog.
A couple of boats obligingly tooled by to lend a bit of motion to otherwise static views.
Light trail from a passing boat.
A shot of the causeway onto the island. Lighthouse on the left (north end), Sign over the road on the right (south end), car light trails in the middle.
