These are simply "Test Targets of Opportunity" to try the Canon FDn 24-35 / 3.5-L I recently picked up.
As far as I'm concerned, it's a keeper.

CONCENTRATION OF YELLOW FLOWERS, WALL OF GREEN BACKDROP, TREE LINE & SKY BEYOND

WONDER HOW LONG IT TOOK TO BUILD THIS ??

Interesting thing about that last one...as I was walking through the dark woods I noticed this patch of very light color up ahead...that couple foot section of a dead tree that had all the bark missing. The overcast sky was light grey and it was pulling a lot of good diffused light down through an opening in the tree tops...like a little "brightly lit stage" in the woods. A couple leaves on it, good texture from the wood grain, thought it made for a good snapshot.
