I went out to a local historical site to document a little of their event, and planned on mostly using a new Lumix G5 with a rented 35-100mm 2.8 lens. I did take along my NEX6 and 50mm.18 though as well. I didnt use it nearly as much, but I found that I got some pretty nice shots anyway. I really wish Sony had a faster long tele.... will have to wait to see what the 85mm 1.8 looks like. I actually prefer the NEX photos to the Lumix ones I shot. But anyway, here are a few from the NEX 6. Mostly still lifes, but I didnt have the reach I wanted with this camera for the other stuff.

Just wonderful. The tone of the photos seems to bring you into the era. Great work!

I would like to see your shots with the Lumix.
