    Hi all.
I am an owner of a nex-f3 that has a usb plug that can be used as a charger. I have a small power adapter that plugs on a normal power socket and gives usb plug as output. I guess that I would be able to plug there also a usb cable to charge my nex-f3.

    Is not that right?

Older NEX cameras could not be charged with the USB port and came delivered with a separate charger, while newer NEX cameras don't ship with a charger but solely rely on USB charging. It's still possible to take the batteries out of your camera and charge them with the external chargers though.

As for your specific question, yes, it should be possible to connect a NEX camera to a USB wall charger like the ones used to charge smartphones. I am not 100% sure though as some devices, like Dualshock 3 controllers, require a USB controller chip like the ones found on computers, while most devices can be charged without USB controllers. To be sure, just try it out for yourself, it can't hurt your camera or your battery.
