Changing Panorama Direction

    On the 5n, it was a pain in the arse to change panorama direction. While playing with the A6000, I found an amazing, and I believe undocumented shortcut. With the camera in panorama mode, turning the top control dial changes the panorama direction!

    Nice, I'll have to try that with my A7. I rarely use the panorama direction, but sometimes it can be helpful. Usually I like orienting the camera vertically since it gives you an even wider view.

    Good tip! I just checked my A7, and the same method works on it too. But now that Lightroom allows for almost painless stitching of raw files, and you can assemble your shot going in any direction, and with as many stacked passes as like, I can't say that I'm often tempted to shoot a sweep jpeg.

    Front dial on a7rmk2 also changes the direction
