I originally just wanted a shot or two of this bird to identify it. It turned out that it was moving up and down the tree with this insect (an ant?) in its beak. Showing off, maybe?

I'd be happy with that focus though, as the bird is pretty much in focus in all of them.
That's one hell of a big ant, if it is an ant, which I don't think it is.

Nice capture. I have these guys in my backyard. They bounce around like a BB in a boxcar. You were fortunate for it to be still long enough for your shots.
