This is one of the most unique places I have visited. It is just West/Southwest of Arches National Park. My wife and I stayed in Moab, UT. which is a good starting point for both parks. Canyonlands NP is divided into four districts.

1. Island in the Sky which is located in the Northern part.
2. The Needles which is located in the Southern part.
3. The Maze which is located in the Western part.
4. The Colorado and Green Rivers which run through the Canyonlands.

The difference between Island in the Sky and Needles is striking. Both are of a different in altitude and geology. These pictures of The Needles and some sights along the way.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Ed. Great shots! But since these don’t appear to have been taken with an E-mount camera, I moved the thread into “Other Systems.” Just keeping things tidy. :coffee-26:
Yeah......showing my old geezerness. :sorry: Gotta get used to this being emount only.

Thanks for your help.
