A bit of a daft question, and not too sure where to ask it.

I have the Sony time-lapse app on my RX1003. I also have it on my A7 and NEX-7

I set it all up, it does its thing for a while, and then at the end there's nothing. I don't seem to end up with a video file, even though I've set it for 24p.

I've tried umpteen times and always end up with nothing.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

My time lapse app works fine. Do you use Windows to find the files or do you manually go in to get them? I vaguely recall that they may be in a different directory.

Ah, perhaps mistakenly I've assumed you could simply view the finished time lapse movie as you would with photos and video clips. I'll have a look at the files on the card.

It does create a movie for you, though check to see if you have to set it in app settings for that

I finally figured it. The time lapse movie doesn't seem to show up outside of the time lapse app on the camera but the file can be found on the card at

/private/SONY/APP_TLPS/150314 or whatever the date of the movie is.

Doesn't seem a very obvious way of doing it

    Thanks for your help Ted

Glad you figured it out. Yeah weird directory name. Private?
