    Just got this lens today...
I think it is my all time favorite.

I will be unloading a ton of 50mm now.

And if my just purchased MD speed booster doesn't hold it's own against this it will be going also. Lol.

I feel the same way about my 45mm Rokkor. Just try and take it from me.

That looks like a great acquisition. How's it handle on the NEX? Not too front-heavy?

I love my copy of this lens. It's certainly not the most light & compact offering in the 50-55mm realm, but the low light & shallow focus ability is pretty hard to beat. As a bonus, check out the corner performance at f/5.6. It seems to be the sharpest of my various nifty fifties, and that's saying quite a lot! Canon wasn't messing around, back in the 1960s!

Thanks. Hopefully I'll get more of a chance to play with it in the next couple of days when I'm off of work.

    First impressions:

    Sharp wide open...
    Easy to focus...
    Peaks great...
It's like holding a cement block at the end of your camera.

    But very worth it.

I agree, but I find really spectacular sharpness starts at f2.8 on mine. ;)

Definitely the main reason I am getting a lens turbo

Hi solwong, welcome to the forum. :)

I'll assume you mean "how do I post a picture" since you did in fact make a post. ;)

If you have your pictures hosted on a website you can click the picture frame icon in the reply dialog box and enter the URL of the picture location and it will appear in your post. Or, you can load a pic file directly from your computer using the same picture frame icon. Which method you choose depends on whether you have your pictures posted online somewhere or not.

Be aware that there is a limit to the number of fiies that you can upload from your computer. Should you reach the limit you will need to delete some of your older files to post new ones.
