Bought this lens in an attempt to get something I could use at f/2 and it certainly doesn't disappoint, it's a lot better than my Minolta MD 35/1.8 wide-open. My daughter consented gracefully to have her picture shown here, so that I can show my intended use for this lens. Winter is coming with its dark days so a fast standard lens is nice to have. I'm also pleasantly surprised by the bokeh. Shot at f/2, 1/60 s and ISO 800.

Just got one of these because I really like the 50mm focal length and this appears to be the best manual focus canon lens around in the 35mm (which is as close to 50mm on a nex as I can get)

It is a early chrome nose :D but was in a terrible state, :( full of bad fungus, but spent a few hours taking it apart and cleaning it and am amazed by how sharp it is, fantastic lens!

This is pretty much OOC just a little colour correction because I have the radioactive yellowing in mine (just a little)

on a side note pretty much all the internal components are solid Brass, amazing craftsmanship, its 40 years old now, but can see having it another 40 no problem. So pleased and really enjoyed seeing how it is made inside.

This used to be my favorite lens on my AE-1 and now it's my favorite on the A7. Now for some babies!
