Cannot Believe How Fast I Sold my Lenses

I now shoot with a Canon A7iii as well as my crop sensor cameras. I purchased a Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 lens from this forum to have a wide lens that I can use on both formats and decided to sell my 12mm Rokinon and 30mm Sigma to finance the lens. I haven't used the Sigma since I purchased the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens and the 14mm Rokinon will take the place of the 12mm. I decided while I was selling my APSC lenses, that I would also sell my Sony 50mm f/1.8 OSS lens. I have not used the 50mm since I purchased the 28-75mm Tamron and the Sony 85mm f/1.8...

I placed the 12mm lens on this site yesterday and placed it on eBay today. I also placed the 30mm and 50mm on eBay and all three lenses were sold within a couple of hours of posting on eBay. I got the prices that I wanted or these lenses.

Now, I am pondering whether I want to sell my Sony 70-200mm f/4.0 lens and replace it with a Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8. I really like shooting portraits and I think that the Tamron would be a great portrait lens - even better than the Sony 70-200mm f/4.0...

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Rok 14mm f/2.8 lens I sold you! I did sell my Sony 70-200mm f/4 FE lens to fund my Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 lens. I've been so thoroughly impressed with the Tamron, I'm also debating if I want to add the 70-180mm f/2.8 lens as well!

Tamron lenses are great as lensrentals tested the 17-28 & 28-75... Hopefully next is 70-180mm test... 70-180mm caused me to buy 28-200mm. 70-180mm f2.8 is impressive at its size... I checked the Canon RF 70-200mm version in camerasize and Canon is much thicker and heavier due to IS.

Nobody was upset, just poking a little fun, Richard. :)

I half-expected someone to mock up an R5/R6 image with the model logo replaced by the one from the A7iii. Or an A7iii image with the model logo replaced by the one from Canon. :D

In my experience it is 13% if accepting PayPal for payment. 10% goes to ebay, 3% to PayPal. There are some extras you can add for which ebay charges a fee, and I am not including things like shipping (if you are paying for that as a seller).

I "could" sell my lenses on the local craigslist.com but, IMO. it is safer (especially in these COVID 19 times) to work through eBay... No face to face meeting required. I simply box the item, print out a label, and pop it on top of my mailbox for the mail lady to pick up. BTW: I live at the end of a semi rural road with virtually no strangers passing by - so it's safe to do that...
