I was fortunate enough to spend some time in this area recently. To say that the scenery was breathtaking is surely an understatement. I hope I was able to capture even a small part of that beauty in these images. All shots with the A6000.

Breathtaking scenery! Very nice job capturing the splendor.
Really liked the town of Banff, and both lake shots.

Thank you for the kind words everyone! And thanks for the feature.

One correction about cameras. I forgot that that the Prince of Wales image was taken with a NEX 6 (and the 55-210) not the A6000, FWIW.

Wow!!! AMAZING photos and scenery! Makes me want to be there - thanks for sharing and well deserved featured thread

All are such excellent photos, I really can't pick just one as a favorite. The only one that isn't as spectacular as all the other is "Bridal Veil Falls" but all the others....just wow :D

Hi. Thank you and welcome to the forum. Most of the images were taken with the 16-70z, but I also used the Sony 10-18 (Herbert Lake and Rainbow, I believe) and the 55-210 (Prince Wales Hotel) for a few.
