E-mount has got registration distance on 18 mm and M43 19.25 mm and adapter takes some space too so no E-mount lenses to M43.
Another problem (I think) is that the SEL lenses are actually using the AF motors to focus even in manual focus mode. Also the SEL aperture is controlled by the camera with no manual control override. Unless you can find an adapter that powers the SEL lens electronics from the non-NEX camera, nothing will work.
As E-Mount is an open standard, it certainly would be possible to build an adapter that works with AF, MF and aperture control. The bigger problem is the flange focal distance of 18mm - such an advanced adapter would for sure be thick to a point where it's no longer possible to adapt it to any other mount (if there even is any mount with a much shorter flange focal distance).
