We spent a few days in Devon, Bigbury on Sea and on this tiny island. A7RII 50mm Summilux ASPH. I have lots more pictures but unfortunately I need to clear some space (again) to be able to get them onto my Mac!

Nice, Christina. And hey, just pop in a new solid-state hard drive in your Mac and get a lot more storage and a speed boost as well. I'm done with spinning hard drives.

Mine is maxed out, there are no more ports for storage so I have 3 external drives, one back up and 2 with photos. I need to get my son in law to move some more photos over to free up some space :(

It's really quite unique, the hotel has been restored to the original 1930's as much as possible. This is where Agatha Christie wrote a couple of her books...... there are no power showers here and things are "quirky". You cannot leave the island between certain hours according to the tide, there's a sea tractor for transport when it is possible :)

I have to say I find the unattended tripods intriguing. Whatever is on top of the one does not look like a camera though; survey equipment, perhaps?

In any case, lovely place and lovely photos.

Definitely surveying equipment. They were there the afternoon we arrived. They had drained the Mermaid Pool and had set up all kinds of equipment. This Leica thing (magnetic?) was used also. Our friend spoke to them and found that it's all to do with measuring the amount of erosion.
