I'd be curious to see the color version too
Not much color to be seen. This is unedited, the camera (or my improper settings) made it look blue. The actual color of the sky was yellow/brown haze
Definitely like the B&W one more!
And for some strange reason I'd work with that color file instead
Really? I much prefer it in b&w, looks more gloomy and industrial. The color photo seems bland and uninteresting to me.
I like your B/W, contrast with sky, cityscape, water. The line from the bridge crossing the water connects with the horizon on the other side bringing me to the right along that skyline down to the waters edge. I think this is a double decker bridge, I've been on two bridges of this similar type in CA. I'm curious about Smoky Portland? Are you saying Portland has a seasonal climate with fog or cloud-like smoke similar to The Smokey Mountains in TN, or was this related to the western U. S. summer wildland fires?
There were multiple large forest fires filling the whole valley with a brown/yellow smokey haze.
