...with the right camera, the right lens, the right skill set, the right photographic eye, the right sense of style...
    ...just lucky...

Great stuff. I assume you were at Kurnell to shoot these?

Hahaha, yeah something like that. I actually didn't come here for this shoot but with one eye on the sky all afternoon, I could see the clouds forming in the West. Only one thing for it, grab a coffee and find a nice spot to take in the light shows.

Yeah was at Kurnell. I plan on getting back there soon for a Sunrise shoot around Cape Solander

    Just beautiful. :)

Hopefully, Kahn was not there to greet you. ;)

Ha ha, when I saw "Botany Bay" was the subject, that was the first thing that came to mind. Until this and a little searching, I did not know the history of the name. Rather interesting, actually.

Ya, the actual Botany Bay being a penal colony tied in greatly :)

The real fun starts when you mix Star Trek and Star Wars together. My grown children just roll their eyes at me. :shakehead:

One of the most awkward lines ever performed, yet so memorable. Shatner is certainly one unique individual.

As a fan of both franchises, I love each, but for different reasons.

Yeah, my wife is a company member here at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and there's a saying among her fellow actors, whenever one of them does something particularly mind-boggling during a performance: "He did a full Shatner."
