    I would think it's hard on the hulls from a structural standpoint to allow the boats to be grounded like in your 4th shot. I imagine the tide going out is slow enough that it isn't a 'hard' grounding, but still, it's not like the hull is supported properly like when in dry dock.

    My guess is, for any boat built to take on the North Sea, a little grounding feels just like a tickle. :laugh:
