This past weekend we had an intense haze all over Beijing.
I was able to go out and capture some of it.

Beijing felt huge the last time I was there. It was like the size of Los Angeles, with the population density of New York City!

Yikes! Was it smog, or just some unusual atmospheric condition?
It's a combination of factory work and farmers burning their fields for the new crop after the Chinese New Years.

And then people must be complaining of lack of sharpness and of contrast of their lenses and this, at all aperture settings
Haha. On a personal note: I don't complain about sharpness. I usually have it set to F5.6 the building I did at F9 since I don't need a "fast" shutter speed. The 2.2 photo is my mobile phone.

Yeah but then any person looking at your pictures out of context will think the 12-24 F4 G lens gives dull pictures at any aperture 😉
