Hanging out by the river playing with my flea market legacy lens I purchased just that morning, 3 or 4 ground squirrels (not chipmunks) came very close to us. I assume they were "begging" for food, unfortunately we did not have any to share.
Trying to use a manual focus lens to capture fast moving squirrels that hardly stay still is a challenge.
The cheapo lens did a decent job, but I don't think I will use it very often.
