Sorry I was away from this forum for awhile but I was in the land of very little wifi(Yukon and Alaska). I have many pics to post. Here are a couple.

First is with Sigma 30mm. Colombia Icefields in Alberta

Love the ways the clouds hug the edges of the mountains, they look like they could glide down at any moment. I'm surprised (but probably shouldn't be) that snow is still around. How high elevation is the first photo. I look forward to seeing more photos.

The elevation is about 11000ft. It was taken at the end of May. Probably less snow now.

If these are any indication of what the rest look like I can't wait to see the rest of them.

These two are just snapshots of Keno City, pop. 15. It is a community that has been up and down as the mining goes. A company is mining silver there for now. The first pic is "the place to be". The second is the Sign Post hill. We drove up a washing out(because of snow melting) gravel road. From Keno City to the top was an elevation change of about 600 meters. It was a little scary at times.

The second pic is a little dark but with cloud shadows it was difficult lighting.
