Well, it looks like Sony (US) is having a small E-mount lens sale, again.
Since there's been a bit of talk on the forum lately about portrait lenses, and "nifty fifties", and the Sony 50/1.8 OSS vs. the FE 55/1.8, I was checking SEL50F18 prices and noticed that all the major outlets - Sony Store, Best Buy, Amazon, B&H, and Adorama - seem to have the SEL50F18 on sale $50 off as of today (8/17/2014). Then I checked and there are a few others on sale as well:
SEL50F18 - $250 ($50 off)
SEL30M35 - $255 ($25 off)
SELP1650 - $300 ($50 off)
SEL1018 - $750 ($100 off)
SEL18200LE - $750 ($100 off)
SEL24F18Z - $1000 ($100 off)
(all prices rounded to the nearest 5, all US$)
One of the sites (Adorama, I think) seemed to indicate the sale runs through August 30th.
