I've been through 3 MA to NEX adapters and I still don't have a usable one. The first 2 were useless, I couldn't even get a lens to mount. I tried transplanting the mount from a Minolta body. Unfortunately it didn't like up so I couldn't get the aperature control to work. My 3rd arrived on Friday. The good news is that lenses can mount. The bad news is that I didn't notice that it doesn't come with a aperature control ring. What's the point of it then? I'm done trying with these cheapie adapters. I'll keep an eye out for a cheap LEA1.

It's probably a good idea anyway to get electronic aperture control via the official Sony adapter. IME the LA-EA1 is very nicely made - shouldn't have any lens mounting hassles with that.

What kind did you get? I just ordered the Rainbowimaging kind and it should be here in the next few days. Are there any other kinds?
