Hoping to find out soon as I am about to place my order for a nice used one.
Otherwise I may go with the Tamron 70-200 2.8 VC (prefer the canon) or get the Tamron 150-600mm first then the 70-200 later on...decisions decisions...

PS. Analyzing things now and seeing that neither the Tamron 150-600mm or Sigma work well with the adapters and seeing that the Canon EF 70-200mm NON IS also does not work well with the adapter...I may as well just get the LA-EA3 and get the Tamron 70-200mm VC 2.8 and the Tamron 150-600mm after that both which AF fast and accurate according to Brian Smith.

I have not used those lenses, but based on lea-a3 experience with 1 Tamron & 3 Sony lenses, af speeds are native>La-ea4>la-ea3/metabones 4 with less then good light... Brian S. tried them at B&H. He is not shooting with them in all conditions. Look for user experiences or try to find a shop...

I decided to forget about the EF adapter and just get the LA-EA3 instead since based on Brian the tamrons will focus fast and accurate with it vs the EF ones.
