Any NEX repair experiences?

One thing that has worried me about buying into the NEX system is Sony's lack of US based repair centers. Their Laredo shop is really a transfer station for their repair facility in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, and Precision camera in CT seems to have downsized. Does anyone have a recent repair, and how did it go?
