Jockey Lots (also known as flea markets) are a great place to find colorful characters. Went there early this morning with a friend just to check it out. Here's some images captured with a Minolta Autofocus 50mm 1.7 via LEA2 adapter.

This is the scene greeting me as I parked my car. Poor creatures looked rather resigned to their fate of carrying small children around in circles.

Last time I went I also took a bunch of shots.

    Always a fun time.

Great pictures, I LOVE them all !! You captured the atmosphere very faithfully I bet. Those poor ponies are rail thin, it's painful to watch. But I guess when humans live hardly better than their stock, they're little enclined to worry about animal care....

Thank you. It definitely seemed like a lot of down on their luck people. Btw - I found a guy selling an old Nikkormat with a 50mm 1.4. But he refused to go below $100. Beautiful camera and lens.
