A fast moving thunderstorm swept over the airport early this afternoon, so I screwed a polarizer on the front of the Pen F 38 and started snapping pics with the NEX-6 through the rather dirty windows of my office. I did adjust the polarizer to remove as many reflections from the window as I could. The first 8 photos were taken an average of 1 minute apart; the final one was about 40 minutes later after the storm had cleared all the crud from the air.

Hey Tony! Nice shots. That 38 is such a little beast! I love the lens. I have 2 copies now and I also bought a 40 1.4. On the a7 it does show it's limitations on full frame but I like the character. It is very sharp in the center at all apertures. So in crop mode or on a nex 6 or 6000 it's a very nice 59/60mm. On the full frame it's not forgiving on the sides or corners.

Thanks Kevin. It is a great little lens. I also have a PEN F 25/4 and 20/3.5 on the way. The 25/4 is in good shape, but the 20/3.5 was listed as "ugly". The price was right, so I decided to take the risk. No way was I going to pay the $300+ most are demanding for it on eBay . . . even for ones with haze or fungus.

Let me know how you like those. I was eying those myself but they are a bit on the pricy side. I picked up a canon FL 19 3.5 and have yet to take it for a ride.

Nice series, Tony, I especially like #7 and #8. Just to enjoy them more I removed the reflections in Photoshop and they look even better (#7 and #8). Thanks for taking your camera to work!

Will do<kevin. I got the 25/4 for only $99, much lower than all the others up for auction. It is supposedly clean. I'll find out when I pick it up this morning.
    Thanks.
Thanks Ad. Those edits look great! I use GIMP, and have no idea how to do that level of edit. My first guess would be the Clone tool, but I didn't try that on these photos. The most I've fixed have been dust spots and other minor imperfections.
