This is with the 18-55 kit lens set at 18 and a half a second on the shutter at sundown

Nice scene. The color seems a tad off though. :)

Nice, but you have way too much blue in your image.

I agree with everyone about the color, specially with the haze however that's a very nice silky image specially with the kit lens! Nice job!

This is beautiful! It'd be easy to fix the colour too. :)

I'm guessing that the WB setting was in the wrong position. But yes, it's a beautiful scene.

Am I the only one who thinks this color is intended? Makes the scene look much more dreamy imho.

I am still playing with the camera settings to get a feel but this was a totally accidental shot.
iPhoto shows f/10,1/2, exposure 0ev and iso 100 but i think I turned up the warm.

This is the same camera position on my knee pod with f4, 1/60 and iso 500.

I thought it looked surreal with the blue hue. I actually said to myself, 'wow, that's cheesy' when I scrolled thru the latest shots at the end of the day. lol

Second one is much better. However if you are going for artistic, the bluish version is fun.

Just gotta declare which you are going for.

I like the first one better. It could need some processing to look credible (NOT more realistic!), but either way, I think it's much more interesting than the second shot.

How much did you do in post? Because I bet there could be done much more. Really, you don't want to see any of my photos before I spent hours to process them and make them fit my vision and my concept.

This second one is also very good.
