I've been using it. I don't use photoshop a lot. I basically use it for content aware filling and frequency separation. The beta for Affinity Photo does both those things really well and it's very, very fast. The UI is photoshop-like but nicer and more user friendly. Its a great Beta and hasn't crashed on me or sucked up ram etc. I really think this can develop into a real challenger for Photoshop at least for non professionals.

Thanks Colin for your thoughts on this.

I opened up the program and to me, it seems to be a similar copy of Photoshop.
Since I'm not much into post processing, I'm sticking with Lightroom...still have a lot to learn.

Anyone else have any comments...please share.

I'm in a cafe with my Macbook just using the trackpad

    Quick and dirty

    Here's a shot I took

    i-vvLxZCR-L.

Now a haphazard, freehand selection, no zooming and option+delete and 2 seconds later

    i-QCXXWF8-L.

Of course with some care and effort you can make this pretty much seamless.

Thanks for sharing your quick edit...seems like to be quite capable software.

I don't have the processing skills to manipulate photos well, so I just leave them alone.
A bit of tweaking is all I can do.
