Adult Finch conducting Flying Lessons for the new brood

    Not much of a good technical example, poor lighting, noisy...but thought it was worth sharing if only from a 'Nature' point of view
    Dark, gloomy, raining on and off...I happened to see this adult finch and a new brood of fledglings swoop in / land on the same branch.
    A long ways off at about 75 feet but the little scene was too unique not to try.
    Canon FD 400/4.5 on the NEX-7 was sitting on the counter...already set at ISO800 for low light, Manual Mode, Spot metering.
    Grabbed it and just as I was making the shot the adult pitched off the branch...
