    Hi everyone!

I'm so happy my first collection of macros have been accepted on the famous website Shutterstock and is now available for sale!

    Here's the link: http://www.shutterstock.com/g/christianmarcel

Some of you have also been accepted on Shutterstock? I guess it doesn't pay a lot, but it's cool for the reputation :p

Please share your experience with Shutterstock if you also have pictures published there.

Just got another set of 7 pictures approved! Awesome! They'll be online within 24-48 hours.

Wow now you got me interested in trying this!
I remember once I submitted like 10 and only got 3 approved mainly because they wanted super denoised stuff so I started focusing on removing noise etc but then never tried again.
You got some brilliant stuff there!

    Congrats!

    Thank you!!
Well, it was my fourth try! There was always something wrong before. Too much noise, too much noise reduction added, sharpness issue, too much sharpness added, Color fringe, exposure issue, poor composition, legal issue (I sent a pictures of Miami beach and the Eiffel tower) or even subject out of focus when cropped at 100%. I think I got everything. They really analyze the pictures even in an artistic and commercial interest.
You have to send 10 pictures and at least 7 must be approved to become a contributor. If you fail, you have to wait for 2 or 3 weeks before submitting a set of 10 pictures again. Once you are a contributor, you can send as many as you want and as often as you like.
To earn some money you have to sell thousands of pictures so it's not that interesting in financial issue but it's fun and good for the reputation, that's how I look at it anyway. It also gives you real critics. It's kind of a test! HA HA
