This guy may have been dead. I didn't stick around long enough to find out.

    Wow. Amazing shot!

Spiders don't scare me. But I also live in an area where we don't really have any poisonous/deadly ones. I bet I would be scared really quick happening upon one that was! I lived in San Antonio, TX for one year and I can't even think about scorpions or cockroaches (water bugs) without shuddering with fear.

Great shot! One way to make sure they're dead is to apply some "flat" to them. Several times if required. ;)

Found another thing that scares me a little. Well, it's more hate. The dog likes them, nice crunchy treat as far as he's concerned.

The flat below mine has been empty all summer and this week it's being cleaned for a new tenant. The last tenant left it in a really bad state. Unfortunately that means all the critters that have been sheltering there have been displaced and are looking for new homes.

Rather see the spider than this thing any day.

You haven't met my Jan then ;)

Fine close up shots with good fine details showing. Very nicely taken.

All the best and good work in these.

I used a SMC Takumar 105mm ƒ2.8 with a couple of extension rings.
