    No joking

On one side of the ring, we have the heavy weight champ A7r+FE35mm at 3.9x price difference, and the other side we have the tiny weight RX100 M3.
Speculations: RX100 M3 will be flying over the ring at first a7r punch.
    Lets the fight begins.

Shots taking right after the other, using Aperture priority. Profile: Standard with +1 Sharpness set in camera. SOOC JPGs. No post-processing. Sorry, no RAWs.

Ignore the focal length difference (24mm vs 35mm) and NO discussions about FF vs 1" sensors, print size, advantages/disadvantages, etc. Just let the pictures speak for themselves.
Go to the flickr links and download full resolution JPGs and please tell us which one you like better and why. Which one is sharper? Which one has better sharpness uniformity?

    RX100M3 @ f5. Since the effective DOF would be 5 x 2.7 = 13.5, I should have used f13 on A7r.

I think the answer is they are both plenty sharp enough.

But you can see the difference in dynamic range, the RX100 is starting to get washed out greens in the brighter patches of grass.

I bet if you were doing serious post processing, you could pull more out of the A7r image.
